Post hole digging for forms and fences with the Mini Excavator is the by far the most complete solution. You can drill to depth, you can dig for a big rock if needed, and with the hydraulic hammer you can pick away any ledge. 

• Fencing: If you want to put in a fence but don't want to deal with digging the holes and mixing the cement. Using the auger I can dig holes and mix concrete all with the same attachment.
• Footings: Footings for decks or porches, sometimes called Sona Tubes, are easily dug out with the hydraulic auger. A full 4' to frost is no problem, you have a nice clean hole to work with.
• Planting: If you have a whole row of shrubs or small trees you want planted, the hydraulic auger has really fine control well suited to the job. Ten holes to a hundred, I can dig them quickly.
• Cement: With the drum attachment you can mix/deliver/pour right where you need it.
