There is nothing quite like a rototiller when you want to till up the land. My Rototiller is 5 foot wide so it is to big for most small gardens but perfect for larger ones.

With a 5' Rototiller, this is the general work done,

• Large Gargens - A five foot rototiller will make short work of most gardens.
• Lawn Work - It is often used to till up entire yards for new lawns.
• Food Plots - A 4WD Tractor with a bucket and tiller can make large food plots in a short amount of time. 

I also have a 5' Disc Harrow. A disc harrow breaks up the heavy grass thatch like the type you find in fields. Often times I will use the harrow first and follow with the tiller. The harrow pulls about three times the speed of the tiller so it breaks it up really fast. It also allows the tiller to do a better job without clogging.
